All prices are subject to change without notice.
An increase in the price of Diamond Rough
= An Immediate $$$ Increase from the Cutter
= An Immediate Increase in the Price of Nice Ice.
Okay Boys and Girls... Diamond & Precious Metal prices fluctuate just like stock prices and unfortunately we don't have control over either. Therefore, all diamond and precious metal prices are subject to change without notice. In the event of changes in the market, the diamond prices listed in our Private Reserve will be immediately Null & Void as of the effective time of the market change regardless of whether we have been able to update the listing.
Prices published on the web site for jewelry items are merely examples of price, the actual price for each item will be determined on the day of sale. Prices for jewelry items crafted from Platinum, Gold, Palladium and any other precious metal are subject to change without notice. In the event of changes in the precious metal market, the jewelry prices published on this web site will be immediately Null & Void regardless of whether we have had a chance to update the prices to reflect current market conditions.
All diamonds and merchandise not paid for in-full prior to a market change will be subject to the new market price. Once again for the record, all diamonds and merchandise not paid for in-full prior to a market change will be subject to the new market price. If you did not lock in the price of the diamond or jewelry item that you are considering by paying for it in-full prior to the market change, then you will have to pay the new price for the diamond or jewelry item if the market changes, i.e. if AOL was at $35.00 per share on Thursday and the price goes to $55.00 a share on Friday, then you can't buy it at $35.00 per share anymore regardless of how many times you told your broker that you were planning to buy the stock. If you didn't actually buy the stock, you didn't buy the stock and you can't have it at $35.00 a share anymore.
By the way, if you didn't catch the hint, changes in the market price of diamonds "usually" occur Thursday at midnight, but occasionally they do change during the week. So contemplating your navel over the weekend is probably fine, but doing it on Thursday might cost you some extra bucks. In case you're wondering, we've "never" seen a decrease so don't hold your breath. After all, DeBeers controls more than 60% of the market and it's not to their benefit to lower their prices. We've been waiting more than twenty years for that phenomena to occur and from what we've seen the other diamond cartels seem to follow the lead of DeBeers so we don't expect to see it any time soon.
The precious metal market tends to be more volatile than the diamond market and prices fluctuate almost hourly. We don’t spend all day tracking minor changes in the market and we’re not concerned about minor fluctuations. But major spikes or drops in the market will affect the selling price of our merchandise as specified above.
